Small Animal Veterinarian Located in Buffalo, NY

Welcome to our website! Ellicott Small Animal Hospital believes that the relationship between you, your pet, and your veterinarian should be one of communication, compassion, and care. We encourage you to read on to learn about Our Mission & Vision, and explore our site further to see what veterinary services we have to offer. We look forward to meeting you and your pet!

Our Mission

Helping make pets a healthier part of Western New York families by recommending and providing excellent veterinary medical care that is communicated compassionately and effectively.

Our Vision

The veterinarians and staff at Ellicott Small Animal Hospital aspire to create a sanctuary of care through which we can provide the very best medical attention for every animal that comes to our hospital. Your pets’ well-being is our single focus. We pledge that we will help every animal that comes through our door.

We will be professional advocates for the well-being of these animals – seeking out and recommending the care that is in their best interest.

Our staff devotes their life’s work to the health of their own and your pets. We respect and appreciate every team member’s effort and contribution to your pet’s health, and ask our clients to do the same.

We recognize and accept that not every pet owner will be able to provide the standard of care that we recommend. We appreciate being asked to help. We will work to develop a plan of care that works for both the owner and the pet.

We will create bridges to other hospitals and pet care providers, locally and nationally, to ensure that we can deliver the highest quality care at fair prices.

With all the gifts that our pets give to us in their lifetime, we are honored to be able to help owners give them back perhaps the greatest gift – the gift of painless, peaceful, noble parting.

Home of the Buffalo Rabies Tag!

We are proud to offer our exclusive Buffalo rabies tag. We are the only animal hospital in the United States to carry this unique design and are extremely excited to offer this to your furry friends.

It matches our lobby’s iconic golden Buffalo which was part of the Herd about Buffalo program. With so many great things happening in our city, we are all “Talking Proud” and now you pets can too! When your canine is due for a rabies vaccine, schedule an appointment and they will receive this new and exclusive tag!

Veterinary Clinic Services

Our veterinarian offers a wide range of services for your dog, cat, or pocket pet. Whether you have a brand new puppy, or a cat that’s been part of the family for years, we are here to help! Our standard of care involves general medicine such as vaccines, dental care, and routine diagnostics. Aside from preventive medicine, we also offer alternative treatment in acupuncture and laser therapy. If it is time to say goodbye to your beloved pet, we understand how hard that can be on the whole family – that is why we also offer in home euthanasia services. In home pet euthanasia allows for your family, and your pet, to be in a place of comfort during a difficult time.
