Jessica
Jessica is a Veterinary Technician who has many talents! She is known as an expert nail trimmer for even the toughest pets. In addition to that most days she is part of our surgery team, making sure your pets are well cared for. Oh and did I mention she learned to sew to make us some masks! Luna the Beagle and Bebe the Cat loved getting some one on one time with Jess.

Katie
It’s time to introduce another Ellicott pawtastic hero! Katie will celebrate 2 years with our team this May. She is like a ray of sunshine with a smile for anyone who crosses her path. Willow and Mila agree that It’s fun to hang out with Katie.

Robyn
Robyn just celebrated 5 years with Ellicott. You can find her at the front desk or on the phones helping welcome you and your pets and behind the scenes she does so much more. One thing is for sure she is always there to help! Nellie IV and Sally have helped themselves to some snuggles.

Dr. Garofalo
Our next pawtastic hero is none other than Ellicott’s Cruise Director, Dr Garofalo. When she isn’t taking care of our sick patients she is secretly planning the next team week! Her patients pay her back in cuddles and kisses. Look at Preston and Izzy sharing the love.

Kayleigh
Did you know that a Vet Technician, aka a Pet Nurse, does so much more than just give shots and trim nails? Our pawtastic hero of today is Kayleigh! Kayleigh is a pro at processing lab work for our pets. She gets to check out some pretty cool stuff in a microscope too!!! Molly and Kayto say thank you Kayleigh for taking such good care of us.

Dr. Hrapach
Dr. Hrapach honored us by joining our team last year. She is caring and compassionate and we think she is kind of great! Magic, Jake and the soon to be named kittens would agree that she is pretty special!

Dr. Carota
We are continuing to honor our Pawtastic Heros with lots of praise. Today we give thanks for Dr. Carota. She works hard to keep your pets healthy, happy and engaged and does the same for her co-workers. Way to go Dr. Carota! Pippa, Barry and Hutch say thank you too.

Marcus
Marcus is a hardworking college student who stepped up to help us during the change in how we care for our patients. You can find him working hard in our Pharmacy filling scripts, taking health histories and restocking medicines. He does it all with a smile and regularly hands out doses of laughter! Magic and Max say thanks for the love Marcus!

Pam
Pam is our Pawtastic Hero of the day. Pam is our Client Service Manager. She is always hard at work behind the front desk ensuring our clients and their fur families have a great experience at Ellicott. She is also a cheerleader for her staff and finds ways to help keep spirits up. Pam is also some what of a Pug enthusiast and will light up anytime one enters our hospital! Here she is trying to steal Lewis and even though Godiva is not a pug she could not resist!

Dr. Nellis
Here is Dr Jane Nellis our next Pawtastic Hero! Dr. Nellis brings lots of talents to our team and she is also our resident acupuncturist! How many Veterinarians can say they have a pit named after them? That’s right there is a pitbull out there named Dr. Jane Nellis! All pets agree she is pretty special. Jawsey and Nina soaked up some loving on their recent visits.

Jo
The next Pawtastic Hero is as sunny and pleasant as today’s beautiful weather. This is the second summer that Jo has joined our Client Service Team and is helping us give better quality care to our patients. She is on break from her studies at Bates College where she is also on their rowing team! For the summer we will enjoy having her humor and hard work as part of our team. Nova and Duke are happy to get some snuggles from Jo.

Rae
Another Pawtastic Hero! Dr. Steven’s sister spotted an article in the Buffalo News this spring that highlighted a high school senior who aspires to be a Veterinarian. We invited Rae to join us this summer before she goes off to SUNY Canton. Thank you for your hard work and dedication to our team and clients. We wish you well as you embark on your first year of studies.
