Dr. Alyssa Kramer
DVM
After earning her undergraduate degree in Kinesiology and Business from Western University in 2017, Dr. Alyssa Kramer decided to take her career in a different direction and pursue her lifelong passion for animals and medicine. She went on to graduate from the Ontario Veterinary College in 2023 with her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree.
Dr. Kramer’s clinical interests include surgery, anesthesia and pain management, and community outreach. She is especially passionate about creating a collaborative, judgment-free environment where pet owners feel supported in making the best decisions for their pets in their unique situations.
Outside of the clinic, Dr. Kramer enjoys traveling, hiking, skiing, and fishing. Through her travels she’s proud to have landed a trophy-sized Northern Pike, Roosterfish, and Rainbow Trout. She also loves spending time with her dog, Tink — originally a foster fail, and now a thoroughly spoiled adventure buddy. In fact, Tink may even enjoy fishing more than Dr. Kramer.
Clinically, Dr. Kramer has a special interest in the areas of surgery, community outreach, anesthesia, pain management and emergency medicine. Her favorite part of veterinary medicine is being able to communicate with clients and provide a collaborative, judgement-free environment to reach the best case-by-case decision for both client and patient.
Outside of the clinic, Alyssa enjoys spoiling her foster dogs, travelling, hiking, skiing, and spending time outdoors. She is very excited to be part of the talented Veterinarians and staff who make up this great team!
